This website is run by Back to Wellness, the practice of Dr. Anthony Alphonso (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have.
Health information you share with us once you become a patient is handled under our patient privacy practices and the laws that apply to it, including HIPAA where it applies. This policy covers the website.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, fill in a form, email or call us, we collect what you provide: usually your name, email address, phone number and anything you choose to tell us about why you’re getting in touch.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information when you visit: your browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived (for example, from a search or an ad) and an approximate location based on your IP address. This is collected with cookies and similar tools.
How we use it

- To send appointment confirmations and reminders

We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your appointments and your care, and with occasional updates from the practice. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and advertising
We may use tools from providers such as Google and Meta to see how visitors find and use the site and to measure our ads. These providers may set cookies and use what they collect under their own privacy policies.
We don’t share what you tell us about your health with advertising platforms.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences at Google Ad Settings and in your Meta ad preferences. Blocking cookies won’t stop the site from working.
Other websites
Our site links to other websites, including our supplement suppliers, our patient portal and our curriculum. Purchases and sign-ins there are governed by those companies’ own terms and privacy policies.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no website or email system is completely secure. Please don’t send detailed medical information through the website’s forms or by regular email.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text. Some information we have to keep by law, and we’ll tell you if that applies.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13 through it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
